Unfortunately, baboons holding lion cubs in the real world is very different from what we have seen in ‘The Lion King’ movies
‘The Lion King’ is among the finest animated movies that graced our screens, and every scene left us mesmerised. However, one scene in particular stole the show: Rafiki (a baboon) holding Simba (a lion cub), presenting to the jungle as its new king—a wholesome moment in the film.
However, real life is extremely different from what we have watched in reel life.
Out in the jungle, lions pose a significant threat to baboons.
Baboons do not have the strength to take on lions, so they often become lions’ prey.
However, baboons are intelligent, and they have their own way of dealing with lions.
Baboons steal lion cubs, and in the hands of the baboons, the cubs do not survive.
Baboons purposely eliminate lion cubs to ensure their survival. In short, end the threat before it becomes a threat.
