However, a few years ago, there was an Odin, a dog who led a group of goats through a raging fire.

In California, Odin is a Great Pyrenees who belongs to an individual named Roland Handel.

When the Tubbs fire in Northern California reached Roland Handel’s home, he had to take a crucial call.

Handel forced Odin to get into the car, but Odin didn’t wish to leave the group of goats that he was in charge of.

Odin’s stand

Odin did not get into the car and stayed with the group of goats. At that point, Handel realised that it was his last meeting with Odin.

Odin, the hero

A few days later, Handel returned with his family to his destroyed family. The loss was severe, and it was a devastating moment for the family. However, an unexpected miracle occurred. There was Odin, wagging his tail, and with Odin were eight goats – all unharmed and alive. Not to forget, a few deer had also joined Odin’s group.
