Previously Bill Gates has shared some exciting stories about his schooling days and how they helped to shape his career. During an interview he shared: “Lakeside was one of the best things that ever happened to me. One reason I'm so grateful to Lakeside is that I can directly trace the founding of Microsoft back to my earliest days here.”

“Source Code is my origin story, and I’m looking forward to sharing it,” mentioned the Microsoft founder in his blogpost.

And I cover the challenges of dropping out of school to make a bet on an industry that didn’t really exist yet. The book ‘Source Code’ is scheduled to release on Feb. 4, 2025 by Knopf publishers.
A representative of Gates’ firm, Gates Ventures, said: “Gates’ proceeds from book sales will be donated to the nonprofit United Way Worldwide, in recognition of his late mother Mary Gates’ longtime role as a United Way volunteer and board member of United Way of King County and United Way International.”
