Japan is a continent which is basically small but very powerful at the same time. People say that water can change a lot of things. For Japan there is sea around it and that geography truly changed its story. This country is full of cultures and creativity. But the tradition also lives in it. They accepted new cultures but never let go of the ancient ones. In the end they found balance in between. The Japanese language is also an example of that. Variation in this Language
Japanese language has three parts as in three scripts like Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji. Kanji was first introduced to Japanese people by China as they had no writing script at that time. In the beginning Japanese was just a spoken language. Later they created Katakana, first script in the 9th century and later in mid 9th century Hiragana was introduced. Hiragana and Katakana consist of 46 letters in each script. Katakana is used to name foreign objects. People from other countries write their names in Katakana when they need to. But kanji is totally different from others.
Kanji resembles to carvings of the cave
Kanji was first invented by Chinese people, it was not only a script, but the relation between the script and nature was pure that they even did calligraphy of these characters as a part of their mindfulness and psychoanalysis. These drawings are ideograms. Japanese also invented their own kanji called kokuji. As there is no break in between the words and sentences in Japanese, kanji is like a breaker in between those sentences and words. These characters are countless and used in most of the words in Japanese.
Japanese writing system
A uniqueness is found in the Japanese writing system. If you want to read one text then definitely you need to know the style. Japanese texts, novels, books, and mangas are written in ‘Tategaki’ format, mainly maintaining top to bottom and then right to left. This is a very interesting fact about this elegant language.
