Shawn Mendes is making a return to the music scene with his eagerly awaited new album, ‘Shawn,’ set for release on October 18. This album marks the end of a two-year break for the artist. Fans won't have to wait long for a taste of his new work, as two singles, ‘Why Why Why’ and ‘Isn't That Enough,’ will be released on August 8, coinciding with the three-time Grammy nominee's 26th birthday. Mendes made the announcement via his social media, sharing a striking black-and-white video teaser from the album, which will feature 12 tracks. According to press notes, Shawn is described as his “most musically intimate and lyrically honest work to date.” Let's take a look at some of his pre-20 accomplishments.
With ‘In My Blood,’ Mendes became the first artist under 20 to have four No. 1 songs on Billboard's Adult Pop chart, surpassing his own previous record of three No. 1 songs.
