Salman Khan Firing Case: Here’s What Gangster's Brother Told Shooters Before Attack On Actor’s House

As per Mumbai police’s crime branch chargesheet, Anmol Bishnoi gave a nine-minute speech to the shooters.

On April 14 this year, two motorbike-borne individuals had fired multiple shots outside actor Salman Khan’s house in Galaxy Apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra. Now in a recent development in the actor’s house firing case, it has now been reported that jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol Bishnoi, who was the mastermind behind the shoot, had delivered a nine-minute long “motivational” speech to shooters ahead of the firing at Salman Khan’s house.

As per the chargesheet filed by the Mumbai police’s crime branch, Anmol Bishnoi had reportedly asked the  two shooters – Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal – to do their work well because it will “script history”. According to the 1,735-page chargesheet, Bishnoi told them, “Do this work well. After the work is completed, you guys will script history.”

Meanwhile, news portal NDTV reported that he gave them the speech via an audio message, and asked the shooters to “fire shots in such a manner that it scares Salman Khan”. The shooters were also told to not wear helmets and smoke cigarettes to appear fearless. Bishnoi encouraged them by telling the two shooters, "Do not be afraid at all while doing this work. Doing this work means bringing a change in the society.”

Nonetheless, before the shooting, Anmol Bishnoi was in constant touch with the two shooters. Meanwhile, both Gupta and pal, along with  three others, Sonukumar Bishnoi, Mohammad Rafiq Choudhary, and Harpal Singh, are currently in judicial custody.

Salman Khan’s statement

Coming to Salman Khan, it was reported recently that the actor recorded his statement to the anti-extortion cell of the Mumbai Crime Branch, and informed the police about the alleged threats he has been getting from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang over the years.

“I heard a cracker-like sound. Then, at around 4.55 am, the police bodyguard said that two people on a bike had fired from a weapon at the Galaxy Apartment’s first-floor balcony. There had been attempts to hurt me and my family prior to this as well. I have learnt that Lawrence Bishnoi has taken responsibility for the attack from social media. So, I believe that it is the Lawrence Bishnoi gang who have carried out the firing on my balcony,” Salman had reportedly said.

In fact, when gunshots were fired outside Khan’s Galaxy Apartments on April 14, it was reported that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was behind the attack since the gangster’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi, soon claimed responsibility for the incident through a Facebook post. After the firing incident, Salman Khan’s security was increased.

Later, in May, the President of the All India Bishnoi Society, Devendra Budiya, argued about Salman Khan’s apology and how it would be considered if he seeks forgiveness. “If Salman himself apologizes, the Bishnoi society will consider the apology. The mistake was not made by Somy Ali, but it was committed by Salman,” the Bishnoi gang leader told news agency IANS.

Meanwhile, Lawrence Bishnoi, Anmol, and Rawtaran Bishnoi have all been listed as wanted accused in the chargesheet. While Lawrence Bishnoi is currently lodged in Sabarmati jail, Gujarat, Anmol Bishnoi is believed to be in Canada.
