Oh Yes! The Oasis are indeed getting back together after putting close to a long period of expectation surrounding their reunion. The British rock band will reunite for a world tour in 2025, marking an end to a 15-year-long feud between the band’s two lead members- the brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher.
The band disintegrated at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris, where Noel Gallagher stepped along after yet another squabble with Liam Gallagher- his brother and lead singer. Following the incident, the brothers departed on their separate paths. Liam Gallagher started Beady Eye before going solo. On the other hand, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds won critical acclaim.
Following years of public altercations and bitter exchanges, a switch happened in their relationship this summer. At 8 am on August 27th, amidst rising speculation, the Oasis announced their comeback, beckoning the inception of a new episode for the band.
Next summer, the legendary rock band is all geared up for a world tour. However, there are several crucial questions regarding their reformation that demand answers.
The tour dates for Oasis’ Reunion Tour happening next summer have been revealed along with their venues which include Heaton Park in Manchester, Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, and Wembley Stadium in London, among other locations.
Their reunion has sparked a round of questions among fans like “Who will the band include on the drums?”- “Will it be Zak Starley as in their last line-up or Alan White from Knebworth?”, “Will Gem Archer and Andy Bell return, or will Bonehead and Paul McGuigan rejoin?”
According to speculations, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will form the main part of the reunion, while Liam will be on the vocals. There are chances of guest appearances from previous members of the band.
Before the announcement was made, fans shared many pictures of the tour itinerary- some were fake, while others seemed genuine. In the beginning, there were speculations that Wembley Stadium and Heaton Park would each host a ten-night show. Instead, the official release lists only four nights at each of the two locations.
Fans are curious if additional dates would be added- given the high demand, the initial shows may sell out in the blink of an eye. So it is likely that more tour dates will be announced in the future.

No tour is complete without an opening act! -look at Taylor Swift’s Eras’ Tour and the way the fans welcomed Paramore. It is a well-known fact that Oasis has a habit of featuring neophytes, giving them the exposure of their vast fanbase and audience. So fans wonder if familiar names like Paul Weller or Kasabian can be seen. Or it could be Ride, enabling a guest spot for Andy Bell?
The tour itinerary for next summer in Glastonbury hasn’t been announced yet. However, it seems that the Oasis are the top contenders. Although the comeback announcement mentions that the shows won’t broadcast, their appeal perfectly suits the Glastonbury crowd, both on-site and at home.
Oasis has performed at Glastonbury in the past. Noel Gallagher even had quite a time expressing his love for the festival. A return to the festivals would mark a memorable moment for the fans- just like the song “Acquiesce” describes it: “We need each other…”
Coachella
The initial Oasis Reunion tour dates are scheduled primarily in the UK, with just two nights in Ireland, the birthplace of the Gallagher brothers’ indomitable mother. Oasis enjoyed significant popularity abroad as well, with devoted fan bases in Italy, Spain, Germany, and Japan.
Fans are eagerly awaiting an Oasis Tour internationally. Although a Glastonbury slot has been speculated, it would be exhilarating to watch them at Coachella! The world is yet again theirs to reign!
