Shah Rukh Khan is rightly known as the ‘Baadshah of Bollywood’ and ‘King Khan’, owing to the fact that he is certainly one of the most successful film stars. He is not only a famous name in Bollywood but also is loved by the Indian diaspora across the globe. In some of his recent cinematic outings, including Dunki, Pathaan and Jawan, the actor has yet again managed to keep the audience hooked with his on-screen characters by offering something unique.
As the actor celebrates his 59th birthday on November 2, it cannot be denied that he’s always had an iconic look to his onscreen characters, be it printed shirts in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai or the leather jacket look in DDLJ. In the 1995 romantic film, Shah Rukh Khan left everyone in awe by being the quintessential hero. His chemistry with Kajol, the plot and the songs were loved as well. However, it was SRK’s killer charm and his look in an oversized leather jacket that caught everyone’s attention.
In the film, SRK played one of the famous guys in the college, and thanks to costume designer Shabina Khan, the actor embodied the ultimate 90s look in oversized printed shirts, which he paired with a thick gold chain around the neck. And who could miss the friendship bands.
In the 2000 film, Shah Rukh Khan was seen as the leader of the Eagle gang, who dressed up in leather jackets over vests or T-shirts, baggy jeans, and silver accessories, along with a headband.
