‘Emily in Paris’ is coming back for Season 5!
The beloved Darren Star series, starring Lily Collins, is officially set to return for a fifth season, Netflix recently revealed. Both Collins and Star made the exciting announcement, confirming that Rome will continue to be a featured locale in ‘Emily in Paris.’ Since its debut in 2020, the show has charmed fans with its delightful storylines, stunning visuals, daring fashion, and unrealistic portrayals of careers in marketing and restaurant management—and we’re absolutely here for it! Following the Season 4 release in August 2024, Season 5 is now confirmed. There were hints this was on the horizon: Collins herself teased the possibility in an Instagram post when filming for Season 4 wrapped. “I cannot wait to share what we’ve created together. In Season 4 Part 2, the sizzling chemistry between Emily and the charming French chef Gabriel remained as fiery as ever, despite their on-and-off relationship. Gabriel officially ended things with Emily last time, yet his feelings for her clearly linger. Fans are hopeful that, despite the ups and downs, the couple will eventually find their way back to one another, reigniting their romance in the upcoming season.

While the exact cast lineup has yet to be officially confirmed, it's anticipated that Lily Collins and Lucien Laviscount will return, alongside the series’ core cast, including Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, and Camille Razat. In August 2024, rumors began circulating that ‘Sex And The City’ icon Kim Cattrall might even make a cameo in the fifth season, adding an extra layer of excitement for fans.

‘Emily in Paris’ has never stuck to a consistent release schedule. The first season debuted in October 2020, followed by the second in December 2021, the third in December 2022, and most recently, the fourth season, which premiered across two dates in the summer of 2024. While the exact release date for Season 5 remains under wraps, it’s understood that production is set to begin in 2025.
