BTS's Jimin Shines in New 'Who' Music Video : Exploring the Best Solo Songs Of BTS Members

"WHO' was pre-recorded in December 2023 before his enlistment in the army 

BTS member Jimin released a music video for his new song on Friday. The song 'WHO" was put on YouTube with the HYBE LABELS, a three-minute song. Jimin is seen dancing and singing on nighttime streets with shops, burning cars, and televisions. A tornado is also seen in the background, reflecting his mental state.


Dancers accompany him, singing as he searches for someone special with a distinctive mood with its soulful R&B and blending hip-hop. "WHO' was pre-recorded in December 2023 before his enlistment in the army and his second single after MUSE. This album also includes six other songs- "Interlude: Showtime", 'Smeraldo Garden Marching Band" (feat Loco), "Be Mine", "Slow Dance", and "Closer Than This".

J Hope

J Hope was the first member of BTS to release a mixtape. He first released "Hope World" in 2018. After the release, he received enormous positive reactions from the audience, and it was trending at number 38 on the US Billboard  200. Not only this, his album was the highest charting by a Korean artist at that time. He made history as the first BTS member to enter the Billboard Hot 100 as a solo artist with his single "Chicken Noodle Soup" featuring Becky G. The solo debuted at number 81 on the chart. Additionally, he released his debut studio album titled "Jack in the Box". Last year, he released the single "On the Streets" with J. Cole.

Suga

The rapper, also known as Agust D, has released one studio album and thirteen singles. His first mixtape, "Agust D," was released in 2016 and was available commercially in 2018. D-Day is his first solo studio album, featuring J-Hope, IU, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Woosung.

V

Kim Tae-hyung, known as ‘V’ released his first independent, self-composed song, "Scenery," in 2019. In 2023, V debuted as a solo artist with singles like "Love Me Again" and "Rainy Days." His solo debut album, "Layover," was released last September with the song "Slow Dancing." His latest single, "FRI(END)S," came out on March 30.

Jungkook

In 2022, Jungkook collaborated with Puth's single "Left and Right", which appeared on the US Billboard. Later that year, he became the first Korean artist to release a song for the FIFA World Cup with the soundtrack "Dreamers". He even performed at the opening ceremony in Qatar. Last year, he released his debut solo single. "Seven" was featured with Latto; the song was even the fastest to surpass 1 billion listeners on Spotify. His follow-up single was "3D", featuring Jack Harlow. The song debuted at number five on the Hot 100 and the UK Singles chart. Then Junhkook became the first Korean solo artist to achieve two consecutive top-five entries that year.

Jin released his first independent song, "Tonight," in 2019 and debuted as a solo artist with the single "The Astronaut" in October 2022.

RM

Kim Nam-joon, known as RM made his debut with a studio album solo in 2022. The album "Indigo" featured Erykah Badu and Anderson Paak. His song was "Wild Flower" with Youjeen.
