Detroit has a democratic stronghold for a long time and this campaign event brought together two legendary cultural icons in support of Harris. Michigan is a key swing state, and it will play a significant role in deciding the consequences of the 2024 election.

Taking to Instagram, actress Sarah Jessica Parker showed her support for the Democratic candidate by posting a photo of herself hanging a sign of Harris/Walz on her home window, with a detailed list stating the reasons why she would vote for the duo.

Former NASCAR ace racer Danica Patrick

Danica Patrick, 42, in an interview with Fox News, revealed that she has never voted for any candidate in a Presidential election before. However, this time she will vote for Donald Trump, as she considers him the only “rational, reasonable choice.”

Willie Nelson

Country singer Willie Nelson announced on Saturday that he will host a "Cannabis Community Zoom" event in support of Kamala Harris on Thursday, Oct. 24. The virtual gathering will feature appearances by notable figures such as Whoopi Goldberg, Brittney Spencer, Margo Price, and Dahr Jamail.

Musicians Lizzo and Usher

Lizzo and Usher campaigned for Kamala Harris in key swing states of Michigan and Detroit, respectively. During her speech, Lizzo responded to a negative remark made by Trump about Detroit, saying, "They claim if Kamala wins, the whole country will be like Detroit. Proud like Detroit, resilient like Detroit."

The trio joined former President Donald Trump at a rally in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, where former wide receiver Antonio Brown took the opportunity to criticize Vice President Kamala Harris's running mate, Tim Walz. Although artists like Stevie Nicks, Charli XCX, and Beyoncé haven’t made formal endorsements, Beyoncé has allowed her song "Freedom" to be used in Harris's campaign.

A host of actors have also voiced support for Harris, including George Clooney, Barbra Streisand, Rosie O'Donnell, Jamie Lee Curtis, Mindy Kaling, Kerry Washington, and Jennifer Aniston, along with directors like Ken Burns, Spike Lee, and Aaron Sorkin. TV producer Andy Cohen has also declared his backing for Harris.

UFC President Dana White publicly endorsed Trump during the Republican National Convention, while actors like Dennis Quaid, Jon Voight, Rosanne Barr, and Zachary Levi have shown their support as well.
