Ben White fly back home mid-World Cup after fight with assistant manager Steve

English defender Ben White has left the team and gone back home in the middle of ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar. It is after an alleged fight with the assistant manager Steve Holland.

However, the reasons have not been made clear, but the British Media is reporting it as the bust-up with Gareth Southgate’s assistant Steve.

Ben White unhappy in World Cup

White has not been a part of the playing team in any of the games that England has played so far in World Cup. He was benched against Iran, Wales and the USA in group stage as well as against Senegal in the pre-quarterfinals. He is reported to be not happy about the treatment and thus, has flown back home in response.

England will be locking horns with France in the quarterfinals on December 11 and the 25-year-old Arsenal player wasn’t selected even in that game.

Argument with Holland

As per reports, it has been revealed that White confronted Holland about being benched and the conversation turned into a heated argument in front of the entire squad during the training session before their fight against the USA.

The English management is reported to be unhappy and unsatisfied with White’s lack of knowledge about other players and his personal data.
