Time changes us all. Our physique, our sense of priority and overall outlook to the world: all change with time. When we reach puberty, we feel an urge to look beautiful and smart to the people we meet regularly. That includes an image to be sociable to our peers and colleagues. However, as we grow up and reach our 30s, we feel some of our old habits were not only superfluous, but involved a great deal of money, which, if we did not spend, would inflate our bank balance a great deal. Here are five such things we should do away with as we reach our 30’s. Coffee and Lunch Breaks in Restaurants: When you are 30 and joined some office, you are eager to make a positive impression to your colleagues. As there is no coffee machine in your office, your colleagues invite you to cafes and restaurants for coffee and lunch. After few weeks, you will observe that you are spending almost one third of your salary in cafes and restaurants. You start considering the options and try to bring your own drink and lunch to the office. It is good for your health as well as your bank balance. Going to movies and theatres: When you are young, going to movies is a must for spending time with your friends and dear ones. However, when you grow older, you are no longer eager to spend your evenings in movies and theatres or night clubs. It is far more preferable to sit comfortably at your sitting broom and watching some movies streaming in OTT platforms like Netflix. It is also pocket friendly. Buying Accessories: When you are a teenager, buying accessories like purse and jewellery matching with every dress is a must. When you are in your 30’s, you find your jewellery box is overflowing and your wardrobe is overflowing with matching purses. If you calculate, you will find that a substantial amount of your earnings has been spent in buying those. Stylish but uncomfortable Shoes: In your teen age stilettoes are must, however uncomfortable. You must do away with those. Makeup: For teen agers makeup is a must for boosting up their confidence. They can’t go out without it. However, as you grow up, it becomes clear that it is your personality that determines how you would be received by others not your makeup.
