Even though SRK is known for his stern personality, the Badshah of Bollywood loves to get back at people with witty and savage replies
Words are like arrows; once loosed, you cannot call them back – Shah Rukh Khan is one of the few actors who understands this phase really well. Therefore, despite being an influential figure in the world, he rarely says anything that could offend anyone or be twisted by the media. However, the actor's stern personality also has a side that loves to be witty and, at times, savage with his replies.
Be it a funny comment from a fan or an insult, the King of Romance knows how to get back at people by turning the conversation too serious, keeping the mood lighter. As SRK turns 60, we take a look at the times when he showed his witty side to the world.
“One last question, Salman…sorry, Shah Rukh”

During a press conference, a female journalist wanted to ask a question of Shah Rukh Khan. However, there was a conversation about Salman Khan, so the journalist mistakenly addressed Shah Rukh as Salman. In reply, Shah Rukh asked the journalist for her name, which she introduced as Lipika. A witty Shah Rukh deliberately addressed her as Dipika, and everyone in the room laughed.

During the media interaction for the film Zero, a journalist asked Shah Rukh Khan an age-related question. The actor replied, “Teri kya umar hai? Daari ko dye kiya na tune. Phir kya bol raha hai mujhse young age? Abbu! Buddha hai yeh!” Once again, everybody in the room went ROFL. Both SRK and the journalist enjoyed the funny banter.
SRK’s humorous replies on X
Not only with journalists, SRK also engages in funny banter with fans via his X account. Hardcore fans must be aware of his #AskSrk sessions, during which he answers his fans’ questions on X.
Check out some of his replies.

Shutting Anjana Om Kashyap

A few years ago, SRK had given an interview to anchor Anjana Om Kashyap on a show called ‘Sahitya Tak.’ On that show, Kashyap had asked SRK why Hollywood stars often talk on issues ranging from Afghanistan to ab*rtion but Bollywood actors don’t. An unfazed SRK, in a calm but witty manner, replied, “Main bhi jab America ke television channels dekhta hoon, unke journalists ko sunnta hoon…jab who baat karte hai…woh harr mudde par har kisi insaan ko laake, uski jo baat hai, usse waise hi prakat karte hai jaise usne kahi hai… Baazigar ka music background mein nahi hota hai.
Although the actor turns 60, his words are still as sharp as his acting skills, and we expect SRK to keep giving such witty and savage replies to anyone who tries to joke with him or insult him.
