Harvinder Singh and Dharambir strike gold as India shines bright in Paris
Day 7 of the Paris Paralympics is special for India. It was an incredible day for Indian athletes, marked by moments such as Dharambir's club throw record and Harvinder Singh's historic archery gold. But hang on—Day 8 promises even more exciting action, so prepare for more excitement. Now, let's review the highlights from Day 7 and prepare for Day 8's events when we'll support our athletes again!
Let's begin with the guy who created history: our very own archer, Harvinder Singh, who became the first Indian to win a gold medal in archery at the Paralympics and secured India's 22nd medal overall. It is the talk of the country, and for good reason! It was a challenging ride to the top for Harvinder.

He battled through fierce opposition, defeating elite archers like Iran's Ameri, Indonesia's Setiawan, Colombia's Hector Ramirez, and Taipei's 65-year-old Tseng Lung-Hui. And in the championship game? He triumphed spectacularly over Lukasz Ciszek of Poland!
More glory for India.

It didn't stop there, either. Dharambir and Pranav Soorma increased their medal tally later in the day when they won the Men's Club Throw - F51 Final with an incredible 1-2 finish. With a tremendous throw of 34.92 meters, which set a new Asian mark, Dharambir won the gold, and Pranav took home the silver with 34.59 meters. A one-two finish? You don't see something like that every day! India now has 24 medals, and we have no intention of stopping anytime soon.
After the highs of Day 7, you'd expect us to ease down, right? Nope! Day 8 is jam-packed with opportunities for India to grab headlines once more. So, here's who you should watch if you're ready to applaud.
