Aareyy Colony's Chhota Kashmir

Chhota Kashmir is located near the Aarey milk colony; nothing fancy, but it is beautiful with a green patch with a lawn and trees where one can relax and enjoy the beautiful greenery and breathe some fresh oxygen.

Sometimes we feel suffocated amidst the concrete jungle and high-rise buildings and want to escape from all the hustle of Mumbai to spend some quality time then the picturesque Aarey Colony, which boasts a parkland called Chhota Kashmir.

As the name suggests, Chhota Kashmir is famous for its scenic natural beauty and is one of the city's best-kept secrets. The park is an important part of Mumbai's heritage, and it even has a tree planted by our first president, Dr. Rajendra Prasad.

The park has a diverse range of lush green trees and plants, beautiful flowers, manicured lawns, and tree-shaded paths, making it a perfect destination to visit. This laid-back recreational area also features a lake for paddle boats and a modest carnival with rides.

Pandavkada Falls

Pandavkada Falls is a stunning and awe-inspiring waterfall that is situated in Navi Mumbai. This waterfall is a seasonal waterfall, and rain pours only during the rainy season.

Pandavkada Falls is a magnificent flowing waterfall nestled in the lush green Pandavkada Hills at Kharghar. One can witness majestic sights, specifically during the monsoon season, when the waterfall is in all its glory.

There are a few caves here, which are one of the tourist attractions. With Khargar Hills nearby, it's a popular spot for a get-together away from the city of Mumbai and the locals of Navi Mumbai. The ever-flowing waterfalls fall from a significant height, which provides a magnificent splash worth enjoying.

Dahanu Beach

The main attractions of Dahanu are the reclining golden sands, lush green beautiful orchards, and stunning gardens. This area is an ideal tourist destination.

Dahanu Beach is spread over a distance of 17 km, along with being a widespread and tidy beach; it's also famous for the vast chikoo fruit orchards. Though it is fairly warm in the summer season, the gentle breeze cools down the entire beach.

Carter Road Promenade

Carter Road is a coastal road that is lined with a stunning promenade. It may not be as prominent and spectacular as Marine Drive, as it lacks glitz and glamour, but the warmth and comfort one gets here make up for it.

The Carter Road Promenade is just a km walk along the ocean and is on the west side of Bandra. It was opened to the public in January 2002. It is instantly a well-known chill-out where you can stroll around and have some delicious dishes at very reasonable rates. Just near the Bandstand Promenade, there is a jogging track, a park, and also a dating point for couples.

Bassein (Vasai) Fort

Bassein Fort is a fort in ruins in the town of Vasai. The monument was properly launched as the Fort in the Indo-Portuguese era.

Contrary to popular perception, Vasai Fort was built by the Yadavas in the year 1184 and not the Portuguese. It was reconstructed during the Indo-Portuguese era in 1536. This fort is a structure of national value, and the Archaeological Survey of India has the responsibility to take care of and protect this heritage.
