What about outfits that keep you comfortable throughout the day?

Notably, the festival will take place at the iconic Mahalakshmi Race Course, Mumbai, on March 8 and March 9.

Plan Smart, Party Hard: Make a Festival Schedule

Lollapalooza India features an unparalleled multi-genre lineup under the same roof, making it a melting pot of global sound and homegrown music. This year, artists/bands like Green Day, Shawn Mendes, Louis Tomlinson, Raaftar, Hanumankind, Zedd, and DJ Alok among others will perform.

Now, if you're a music lover, I know for sure that you want to catch it all. But you cannot, and you have to make peace with the fact. With multiple stages (going from the North to the South stages or vice versa takes around 20-25 minutes of walking) running simultaneously with performances, it's impossible to be everywhere at once. That's why you need to make a schedule in advance to ensure that you don't miss out much.

First of all, check the lineup and make a list of your must-see artists. If two of your favorites are performing at the same time at different stages, prioritize the one that you're more excited about. Make sure that after a high-energy performance, you take a break to recharge or choose a relaxed set. And keep some free time in your schedule to explore other festival activities, discover new artists, and simply enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.

Plan smart and party hard - don't stress too much!

Outfits - Stay Stylish, But More Importantly, Comfortable

Mumbai's weather is hot and humid. And if you're spending the entire day at Lollapalooza, make sure to don comfortable outfits. With all the walking as well as dancing, choosing the right outfits can surely make a difference!

First of all, go for lightweight fabrics (such as cotton), and strictly avoid anything too tight or heavy. Oversized T-shirts and loose joggers are great choices, as you'll be moving a lot - and these will allow you to feel comfortable.

Spend some time choosing your footwear, considering you will need to stand for hours (and not to mention dance constantly). Avoid heels and new shoes, as they will make your experience painful. Go for comfortable, feather-weight ones that you are already sure about.

On the other hand, keep sunglasses as well as a hat to protect yourself from the Sun. You can also have a small bag to carry the essentials, such as medicines.

Some Additional Things to Know

Get there early to avoid standing in long queues. Also, it will allow you to explore the venue beforehand and secure the best spots to enjoy the performances better.

It's important to stay hydrated to make the most out of the festival (again… Mumbai's heat and humidity). So, make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day. Carry a reusable water bottle.

Wear sunscreen (preferably SPF 55 or more) to protect your skin from UV rays.

Avoid carrying too many bags - for obvious reasons.

Besides the music and vibes, Lollapalooza India is also known for its food scene. There are numerous stalls, offering various types of delectable dishes. Enjoy the food, but make sure that you eat smart (avoid overeating).

Keep some cash handy, as sometimes weak internet connectivity might cause UPI payments to fail.

Last but not least, don't just stick to famous artists. Be open and discover new music.

And yes, you are welcome!
