Bryan Adams Announces 5-City Tour In India After 5 Years: Check Details Of Tickets, What To Expect And More

The 64-year-old is all set to launch his India tour with Shillong, and will perform in Gurugram, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru as well.

Singer Bryan Adams is all set to make his return to Indian after almost half a decade. The 64-year-old will be back in the country with his world tour, So Happy It Hurts. He will start his week-long Indian gig with a performance in Shillong on December 10, and wrap it up in Hyderabad on December 16. During his five-city tour, he will also perform at Gurugram (December 12), Mumbai (December 13) and Bengaluru (December 14).

Interestingly, Adams will make his sixth visit to India after his 1993-1994 tour. He was in Indian post with his multi-city gigs in 2001, 2006, 2011 and the last in 2018.

The singer talked about his connection with the country, and said, “I’m incredibly excited to be coming back to India! There’s a unique connection I feel with the Indian audience."

He went on to add about his tour, "Your passion for music is truly inspiring, and I can’t wait to perform all your favourite songs – the old ones and some new ones too. This tour is a celebration of music that has connected people across generations. Get ready to rock!”

What can the fans expect at the tour?

Bryan Adams is known for his iconic songs, including Summer Of ‘69, Everything I Do I Do It For You, Please Forgive Me, Run To You, 18 Till I Die and several others. It is expected that the Grammy-winning musician will be performing and entertaining the audience with his latest hits and much-loved tracks.

Coming to his discography, it boasts of 17 studio albums. His most recent track being the peace song What If There Were No Sides At All, apart from his two songs from the comedy film Office Race (2023). During his India tour, he will also be performing music from his Grammy-nominated 2022 album, So Happy It Hurts, on which the tour name is also based.

Tickets for the concert will be sold from Sunday, August 4 to 7 at a special 30% concession. However, it will be a limited-period offer. Finally, the general sale tickets will start on Wednesday, August 7 at 12 pm. The price range for the same start from ₹1,499 and go up to ₹19,999.

Indian Connection

For those caught unaware, during his last India tour, he performed in Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Mumbai, along with Hyderabad and Bengaluru. At his Delhi gig, Adams got really emotional, and said, “I lost my father and my mother had a massive stroke and now she is paralyzed in a wheelchair. I know what it is like to lose somebody. It is not easy (sic).”

He continued, “When I was coming here the other day I noticed a man and his father in the airplane. His father was quite old and I asked are you taking care of your father’. He said that he is coming to live with me now’, and that is the Indian way (sic). In the last years of my father, I took care of my father too... And he said well maybe you are little bit Indian (sic).”
