The official language of Dubai and languages spoken
Although other dialects can be heard and spoken in Dubai, Arabic is the official language of the UAE. However, English is widely spoken throughout the city and is visible on traffic signs as well as on public transportation. Even though English is widely spoken, like with any overseas move, it can be helpful to acquire a few basic words and phrases to show some respect.
Arabian hospitality

Arabian art
Arabic calligraphy, which employs Arabic writing to produce aesthetic patterns, serves as the foundation for traditional Emirati art. A significant portion of traditional art also includes arabesque and girth Islamic geometric designs.
Traditional sport
Along with tennis, golf, football and rugby, weekend local culture now heavily favors water activities, auto sports, and desert excursions. There is a possibility to participate in traditional Emirati heritage sports like falconry, and camel racing.
