Disney has given us some of the most iconic and popular characters and animations of all time. Apart from the usual popular animations, you must check out these lesser-known hidden Disney gems. Disney has a rich legacy of being the pioneers in the field of animation. With its first full-length animated feature in 1937, the studio has progressed exponentially. We all have loved and enjoyed several Disney animations through the years but there still are some hidden gems that have faded into oblivion. A Goofy movie This movie deserves a mention on this list. The movie followed the Goof Troop series where Goofy is trying his best to maintain a comforting and healthy relationship with Max, his teenage son. And Max has all his energies foxed on his crush, Roxanne. Disney wanted to give a fresh outlook to a simple road trip movie that had amazing musical numbers and several heart-warming and funny sequences. And those are exactly the things that make this movie a must-watch for all age groups. Though the movie didn’t receive the praise it deserved, any hardcore Disney fan would recommend this as a must-see movie. The Rescuers The movie was about two mice who work at the Rescue Aid Society which are responsible for assisting the abduction victims. They work diligently to save a young girl from the evil and power-hungry Madame Medusa. Though the plot of the movie is a bit bizarre, the movie deserves a noteworthy mention in this list. It received positive reviews from both audiences and critics. Dinosaur For those of you who don’t know this but Dinosaur was one of the top-grossing movies of the year 2000. The audience and critics were fawning over the movie and were very well-received. But the movie was first of its kind with CGI dinosaurs and live-action had done so flawlessly like no one has ever done before. But aside from being the technical marvel, it was the story and the setting that made the movie unforgettable. But sadly, the movie quickly faded from the audience’s memory. Treasure planet Directed by legendary Disney filmmakers Ron Clements and John Musker. Treasure Island was sci-fi and came with advanced animation techniques which created some of the most visually advanced Disney visuals to date. Moreover, the movie had a stellar star cast such as Emma Thompson, Joseph Gordon-Lewitt. But it bombed at the box office and faded into oblivion. But it is worth having a look if you are a hardcore Disney fan. So, have seen these movies?
