Scheduled for a release on 6 May 2022, Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness is likely to feature a number of other superheroes
In December 2021, Marvel Cinematic Universe tasted outstanding success with Spider-Man: No Way Home. The movie brought back old-gen Spider-Men (Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield) because of which; it became a massive hit with a box-office collection of $1.832 billion. The next film from the MCU is Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness and, as per many sources, several superheroes are likely to appear alongside Benedict Cumberbatch.
Professor X
As per rumours, Professor X from the X-Men franchise will reprise his role in the Multiverse of Madness. In the MCU comics, Professor X is a part of the Illuminati and therefore, we believe, Marvel will open the gateway to the world of Illuminate via Professor X through the Multiverse of Madness movie. However, as of now, we do not know which version of X will feature in the movie.
Return of Ironman?
Marvel confirmed nothing about Ironman, but in the trailer of Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness, almost every MCU fan spotted a look-alike of Ironman. Therefore, we believe the Ironman look-alike character is the Superior Ironman, who is also a member of the Illuminati. Not to forget, as per many, instead of Robert Downey Jr., Tom Cruise will be the next Ironman.
Loki will reprise his role
Tom Hiddleston, who plays the character of Loki, will reprise the character in Benedict Cumberbatch’s movie. Loki was last seen in the Disney+ Hotstar series named Loki. In 2021, only six episodes of the series were aired on the OTT platform. To some extent, it is the Loki series that laid the foundation of Marvel’s phase four.
Hugh Jackman and Wolverine
Nobody wanted Wolverine’s story to end, but it had to and therefore Marvel bid adieu to Jackman’s Wolverine in the most graceful manner possible via Logan, released in 2017. However, fans want to see Wolverine and Jackman again and therefore, we believe he will make an appearance. After all, if Professor X can return; why not Wolverine?! The possibilities are endless in the Multiverse of Madness.
Maximoff twins and an evil variant of Wanda
In Disney+ Hotstar’s Wanda Vision, Wanda’s children Tommy and Billy disappeared (presumably dead). In the series, Wanda accepted that reality and moved on. However, the trailer gave us a glimpse of a different version of Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch, who will probably look for different versions of Tommy and Billy in a different universe.
