The medal count surged to 20, with Indian athletes winning an impressive 13 medals in just two days, bringing the tally to three gold, seven silver, and ten bronze.

Indian medal tally on Day- 6

Tuesday was a monumental day for India at the Paris Paralympics, as DeepthiJeevanji, Sharad Kumar, MariyappanThangavelu, Ajeet Singh, and SundarGurjar all clinched medals. Deepthi secured a bronze in the women's 400m T20 final, while Ajeet Singh and SundarGurjar shone in the men's javelin throw F46, winning silver and bronze, respectively.

Sharad Kumar and MariyappanThangavelu added to the medal tally in the Men's high jump T63, with Sharad earning silver and setting a Paralympic record in the T42 category with a 1.88-meter jump.

Mariyappan followed closely, securing bronze with a 1.85-meter jump. Meanwhile, BhagyashriMahavrao in women's shot put (F34)and AvaniLekhara in 50m rifle 3 positions SH1 competition in Chateauroux delivered commendable performances, finishing 5th.

Day 7

The medal tally is expected to grow today as several Indian para-athletes are set to compete in crucial medal matches on Wednesday, September 4. With Arshad Shaik in cycling, JyotiGaderiya in the road time trial, and Mohd Yasser, Rohit Kumar, and Sachin SarjeraoKhilari in the shot put, India's hopes for more podium finishes remain high.

Cycling enthusiasts can watch Arshad Shaik compete in the Men's C2 Individual Road Time Trial medal round at 11:57 pm. Following that, JyotiGaderiya will race in the Women's C1-3 Individual Road Time Trial medal round at 12:32 pm, showcasing her skills on the global stage.

Shooting

In shooting, the Mixed 50m pistol SH1 qualification round will feature Nihal Singh and RudranshKhandelwal at 1:00 pm. Their performance will be crucial as they aim to advance to the medal rounds and make their mark at the Paris Paralympics.

Athletics

The athletics events on September 4 include the Men's shot put F46 medal round, where Mohd Yasser, Rohit Kumar, and Sachin SarjeraoKhilari will compete at 1:35 pm. AmishaRawat will follow in the Women's shot put F46 medal round at 3:17 pm.

Later, Dharambir, Pranav Soorma, and Amit Kumar Saroha will vie for medals in the Men's club throw F51 at 10:50 pm, with Simran racing in the Women's 100m T12 heats at 11:03 pm.

Table Tennis

Table tennis fans can catch Bhavina Patel in the Women's singles class 4 quarter-finals against Zhou Ying of China at 2:15 pm. This match promises to be an exciting clash as Patel looks to secure her place in the semi-finals.

Powerlifting

In powerlifting, Parmjeet Kumar will compete in the Men's 49kg medal round at 3:30 pm, and SakinaKhatun will follow in the Women's 45kg medal round at 8:30 pm. Both athletes are expected to perform strongly as they aim for podium finishes.
