The album included hits like "Teardrops on My Guitar" and "Tim McGraw", paving Swift's way towards becoming one of the best country and pop musicians. Katy Perry While most of us remember Katy Perry for her big hits like "I Kissed a Girl" and "Firework", she began recording music and performing under her original name Katy Hudson during her teenage years. Grasping the attention of talent hunters, Perry soon began recording music, and her debut album was released in 2001 when she was 16 only. Shawn Mendes While it is notable that the Canadian musician has produced some phenomenal music in the past couple of years, Mendes' fans certainly remember that he gained fame in 2014 when he debuted his first single, "Life of the Party", and he was only 15 at the time of its release.
