Nineteen Asian hotels have made it to the prestigious World's 50 Best Hotels in 2024.
The contemporary stay in hotel is experiencing a massive transformation. The hotels are not only places to stay and eat; they provide an immersive, unforgettable experience. The grandeur of any well-appointed, elegantly designed accommodation deserve appreciation. To acknowledge these hotels, the esteemed list of World's 50 Best Hotels is released for 2024. More than 500 international travel experts from the World’s Best 50 Hotels Academy prepared the list. Industry-defining hotels from 37 locations worldwide have featured in the list. The list was unveiled in London’s prestigious Guildhall. The most exciting part, 18 Asian hotels have made it to the prestigious list. The overall list is topped by Capella Bangkok, which was inaugurated in 2020 with 101 rooms infront of the majestic Chao Phraya River. Significantly, 8 Asian hotels are featured in the 2024 list. Apart from Capella Bangkok, other properties are Rosewood, Hong Kong (3); The Upper House, Hong Kong (5); Raffles, Singapore (6); Aman, Tokyo (7), Soneva Fushi, Maldives (8); Atlantis The Royal, Dubai (9); Nihi Sumba, Indonesia (10).
Only Two properties are placed between 11-20. These are Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok (12) and Four Seasons Bangkok at Chao Phraya River (14).

The 21st position in the list is occupied by Desa Potato Head in Seminyak, Bali. The carbon-neutral luxurious property follows zero-waste philosophy. This is followed by Bulgari in Tokyo (22), which made dubut in the prestigious list this year. Other three hotels listed within top 30 are The Lana in Dubai (23), The Siam in Bangkok (26) and Park Hyatt Kyoto (27).
Capella in Singapore and Amangalla in Sri Lanka are positioned at 33rd and 39th spots respectively. Meanwhile, this is the second Capella brand to be featured in the list after top ranked Capella Bangkok.
The other two properties which are listed among top 50 are India's Suján Jawai in Rajasthan and Six Senses Zighy Bay in Oman. Both are new entries in the list.
