Tamannaah Bhatia has starred in numerous blockbusters over the years. But acting is not the only job that she excels in.
A couple of years ago, Tamannaah Bhatia starred in a film titled 'Plan A Plan B', opposite Riteish Deshmukh. Now looking at her career, it seems that she has had not only plan B, but also C, D, E, and so on. She came into the scene during the mid-2000s and soon emerged as a star in both Hindi and Telugu-language films. And while the term "pan-India star" is reserved for the male actors, she stands tall as one of the few exceptions. However, the point here is that even after achieving such monumental success (especially with 'Baahubali: The Beginning' in 2015), she kept trying different things, reinventing herself again and again on the screen. Whether it's an OTT anthology like 'Lust Stories 2' or a typical dance number such as "Aaj Ki Raat" - she knows how to win over hearts and stay relevant.
And speaking about Tamannaah's range, we must acknowledge that it's not limited to the entertainment industry. Today, on her 35th birthday, let's have a look at the other sides of her career, especially her being an accomplished author.
Not many know that Tamannaah Bhatia is also an author. Back in 2021, she co-authored a book titled 'Back To The Roots' with health and lifestyle coach Luke Coutinho.

Published by Penguin Random House India (PRHI), the book explores India's ancient knowledge, describing simple methods that may help us improve our lives. It sheds light on everything from preventing diseases to increasing longevity to promoting the overall quality of life. It also delves into traditional Indian recipes that may cure a range of health issues.
Speaking with IANS, Tamannaah said about her book, "India is a library full of age-old knowledge on healthy living. It’s about time that we revisited our traditional ways of wellness and put this knowledge to use. All the chapters in ‘Back To The Roots’ are complete with tried-and-tested secrets that have served generations of this country. I have enjoyed the journey of delving deep into ancient Indian wisdom with Luke Coutinho. As we launch this book today, it’s leaving me with a sense of fulfillment as we serve our purpose of documenting and passing the baton of this ancestral knowledge. I hope our readers enjoy the book as much as we enjoyed the process of putting it together for them."

"'Back To Roots’ is my first book and is special for the very same reason. But more than that, it is something I genuinely believe in and want more people to experience it. My aim is to make people understand the importance of our ancient practices with this book because it goes beyond the idea of being physically fit. Especially, in today’s time, with the constant pressure and race, this cultural knowledge has more significance than anything else," she said.
Well, the list obviously doesn't end with her writing career, as Tamannaah dons several other hats as well.
Coming from a business family, she is an entrepreneur as well. She is a notable figure in India's make-up and cosmetics industry. In September 2022, she became an equity partner in Sugar Cosmetics.
Also, she owns the jewelry brand, Wite & Gold. And she is an accomplished jewelry designer as well, associated with her family-owned jewelry business. "Jewelry designing caught my fancy at an early age as my father is also into the jewelry business. I liked what I designed initially and that encouraged me to venture into it further offering jewelry that is light, contemporary, and easy to wear,” she said in an interview back in 2018.
On the other hand, she has been the brand ambassador for several (Indian and international) companies.
Happy Birthday, Tamannaah. Best Wishes For All Your Upcoming Endeavors!
