For an adult, 10-20 ml of decoction is sufficient for daily use. If you are consuming Brahmi powder, the dose should not exceed 2-3 grams per day. Remember, children below 5 years should never consume Brahmi extract. For children above 5 years, the decoction amount should be 5-10ml per day and 1-2 g of powder per day. As the taste is not so good, you can consume with ghee. When you start taking Brahmi extract, you might face dizziness, nausea and stomach upset initially.
