Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will get married at Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on July 12.

As part of their son Anant Ambani’s wedding with Radhika Merchant, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani are expected to host a mass wedding ceremony for underprivileged people on July 2. As reported by news agency ANI, the mass wedding will be held at the Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir in Palghar. “As part of the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, a mass wedding of the underprivileged has been organised at 4:30 pm on 2nd July, at Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir in Palghar,” ANI reported.

“Nita & Mukesh Ambani are contributing towards this noble cause and will also grace the occasion along with family. We would be delighted if you could join us in witnessing this Celebration of Love,” the report added.

For those caught unaware, Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries Limited Chairman and MD Mukesh Ambani, is all set to tie the knot with Radhika Merchant, the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant. Their wedding ceremony is planned at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on July 12. Their ‘Save The Date’ invitation has already gone viral on social media, and the traditional red and gold card gives details of the three-day function.

As per the invitation, the ceremonies will start on July 12, and the first one is the Shubh Vivah or wedding function, with a dress code of Indian traditional. It will be followed by Shubh Aashirwad on July 13, and its dress code is Indian formal. Finally, on July 14, the Ambanis would host the Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception with the dress code  Indian chic. All the functions will be held at the Jio World Centre in BKC.

Ahead of the distribution of cards, Nita Ambani, chairperson and founder of the Reliance Foundation, paid a visit to Kashi Vishwanath Temple, and told the media after that, “I have just got Baba Bholenath’s darshan. I am feeling very blessed…As per the Hindu tradition, we first take blessings of the Lord. I have offered the wedding invite to Baba…I am very happy. I have come here after 10 years. I am happy to see the development and Kashi Vishwanath corridor, NaMo Ghat, solar energy plants and cleanliness. I am very happy to see the change.”

Meanwhile, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding functions have already got wide attention across the globe. In March this year, the two hosted a three-day pre-wedding celebration in Gujarat’s Jamnagar with the biggest names of the entertainment and business world present. While the three Khans — Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan — performed on stage, Rihanna and Diljit Dosanjh also set the stage on fire with their individual performances.

Their second pre-wedding event, which was on a Mediterranean cruise in Italy and France, had a 1200-person guest list, and featured performances from Backstreet Boys, Katy Perry, and Pitbull, along with events like masquerade ball and toga party.
