Vamana is the best treatment for Kapha-related diseases, as well as weight gain, asthma, hyperacidity, and chronic skin disease such as psoriasis. Virechanam (Purgation) At this stage, the elimination of toxic matter from the intestines takes place through the clearing of the bowels. The person is given a natural purgative to encourage the clearing of the guts aiding in purifying the body of toxins. Virechan treatment is prescribed fundamentally for pitta -dominated conditions, such as herpes zoster, jaundice, colitis, celiac infection, hemorrhoids, etc. Basti: Enema Therapy Vata is the main causal factor in the manifestation of diseases. It is the motive force behind the elimination and retention of feces, urine, bile, and other excreta. The medication here is rectally given to effect asthidhatu. Any medication given rectally goes into the deeper tissues, like bones, and corrects Vata disorders. Nasya This body cleansing treatment has oils dropped through the route of the nasal cavity, hence termed as Nasya, nāvana, Nasya karma, etc. PradhamanaNasya is used by ayurvedic physicians and is useful in treating chronic sinusitis.
