Monsoon Parliament Session 2024 Live Updates: Opposition to Protest Against Budget, Farmers to Rally with Rahul Gandhi

A debate is meant to unfold on the third day of the Parliament's monsoon session regarding the Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Today, that is on Wednesday, the opposition MPs plan on protesting against the Budget at the parliament steps at around 10:30 am, denoting it ‘discriminatory’ and asserting that it forsakes states run by opposition parties.

Additionally, Jagdeep Singh Dhalewal from Samyukt Kisan Morcha (non-political) will be included in a 12-member delegation of farmer union leaders, and is scheduled to meet the Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi at the Parliament at around 11 am on the same day.
