Some even accused the government of copying the opposition's manifesto. The Rajya Sabha saw similar criticisms, with MPs claiming the budget was anti-poor, anti-tribal, anti-women, and imposed a heavy tax burden. NDA MPs defended the budget, describing it as visionary and a key factor in securing a historic third term for Prime Minister Modi.
