India Ranks 82 in Henley Passport Index: Exploring the Countries that Indian Travellers Can Visit Visa-free

According to recent data released by the Henley Passport Index, India’s passport has been ranked at the 82nd position, enabling Indian visitors to travel to 58 countries visa-free. This ranking is based on data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which provides the most comprehensive and precise information on travel globally.

On the other hand, the Singapore passport holds the top spot as the world’s most powerful passport, offering visa-free access to 195 countries.

Against this backdrop, let’s look at those top 5 countries where Indian travellers can visit visa-free. We‘ll explore what makes the country special for Indian travellers and how they can benefit from the visa-free provision.

Thailand (30 days)

Thailand is popularly known for its stupendous natural scenic beauty, particularly its islands and beaches. Being home to nearly 1,000 islands and 2,400 kilometres of coastline, Thailand has many beach experiences to offer to travellers including festive parties, diving, a sprightly nightlife, and romantic escapades. Indians can visit Thailand on a 30-day free visa till November 11, 2024.

Bhutan (14 Days Maximum)

Indian passport holders visiting Malaysia between December 1, 2023 and December 31, 2024, are now qualified to enter the country visa-free. They can stay there for up to 30 days per visit.
