Even, the non-profit research organisation SETI or Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence has a goal to explore extraterrestrial intelligence. The SETI Institute’s Commensal Open-Source Multimode Interferometer Cluster (COSMIC) at the Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array (VLA) is currently on a mission to establish connection with extraterrestrial bodies.

Fact: There is a famous theory that humans are the gift from aliens on planet Earth. As per this theory, there is another planet named Nibiru from where humans were delivered to the earth. However, there is no scientific evidence to this theory.
Fact: This is utterly non-scientific idea! May be this idea came into existence thanks to sci-fi movies. If the aliens are biochemically similar to humans, then only bacteria will have any impact on aliens. However, this is far from reality.
Fact: No, this is not going to happen even if aliens land on Earth. As microbes or pathogens will not be able to understand the biochemistry of aliens, they will also not realise us or humans as potential food source. Aliens will not be able to digest humans.
Fact: Thanks to sci-fi movies, we have started imagining aliens as soft and squishy structure. We have seen in numerous hollywood movies that Aliens are invading the earth. However, this seems to be impossible. As per research, even if anything is detected, only signals can be established. In a time when robots and automation is replacing humans, astronomer Shostak Seth from SETI feels: “Chances are, the first invaders will be some sort of artificially intelligent machinery,”
Fact: Once renowned physicist Stephen Hawking warned that the efforts to communicate with aliens could be lead to harmful consequences. He mentioned: “I think the outcome would be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn't turn out very well for the Native Americans.” The physicist told that if aliens become able to catch the signal and come the earth it will indicate they are more smarter than us. Scientists believe, if there is any extraterrestrial entities, they will also search for other planets as resources are finite everywhere in the universe.
Fact: Because of unmatched DNA, the reproduction won't be possible between Aliens and humans.
There is a possibility that aliens don't even exist anywhere in the universe. Yes, you heard it right. Some scientists believe in this concept too. For decades, scientists are trying to discover existence of extraterrestrial entities. However, the result is unsatisfactory.
Currently, scientists at SETI are conducting interdisciplinary research encompassing physical science, biological science, data analytics, machine learning (ML), along with advanced signal detection technologies to understand the existence of aliens. Scientists are hopeful that connection with extraterrestrial entity might be established by this decade.
