So, how costly you think a Barbie doll is? Two grand or five grand? Actually, the costliest Barbie ever made was priced at 302,500 dollars! Jewellery designer Stefano Canturi made this expensive creation. The doll is sporting a black dress and a diamond choker worth 300K dollars. Diamond Barbie as it was popularly called was auctioned, and all the proceeds went to a charity.
Platinum pacifier
The pacifier gives life to the proverb “born with a silver spoon”. It is a dummy pacifier which is made up of solid platinum and priced at 85,000 dollars. It is created by jeweller Matt Case who believes this pacifier is something that would stand out. Well, good luck buying a dummy which can burn a hole in your pocket.
Gold rocking horse
Who can forget the good old rocking horse we adored in our childhood? Well, for a commoner it is made up of wood, but for royalty, it is made of gold. Japan’s Prince Hisahito birth was commemorated by this gold rocking horse in 2016. Interestingly, Beyonce bought this gold rocker for her daughter for dollar 600K.
Louis Vuitton teddy bear
Do you fancy some designer toys for your child? Famous toymaker Steiff created a Louis Vuitton teddy bear, which is the most expensive teddy bear in the world. It is priced at 2.1 million dollars, it was bought a Korean citizen and is now displayed at the world-famous teddy bear museum in Jeju Island, Korea.
Titania’s palace
The dream toy of every girl, this magnificent dollhouse is made by British painter Sir Nevile Wilkinson. He made this dollhouse for his daughter, and it took 15 years to be completed. It has 18 rooms and more than 3000 pieces of art, which includes tiny mahogany furniture.
