Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule, the second part in the Pushpa franchise, is slated to release in theatres on December 5.
Fans of Allu Arjun are in for a delight as the actor’s much-awaited film Pushpa 2: The Rule is all set to hit the cinema halls on December 5 in multiple languages. On October 24, the film’s team held a press conference in Hyderabad, and the highlight of the event was not just the impending film, but also the third part of the Pushpa franchise, Pushpa 3. Clearly, when producer Ravi Shankar hinted at Pushpa 3 being in the pipeline, it left fans of Pushrparaj excited.
At the press conference, producer Ravi Shankar was asked about Pushpa 3, to which he said, "If you all made the film a huge hit, we'd give you Pushpa 3." When questioned further, he asserted, "There's a solid lead for Pushpa 3. Definitely, it's happening."
Not to miss, earlier this year, Allu Arjun attended the Berlin Film Festival, and the actor even confirmed that Pushpa 3 is definitely happening. During an interview with Variety, the actor had said, "You can definitely expect part three, we do want to make it a franchise, and we have exciting ideas for the lineup."
As for Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu Arjun had said, "Pushpa 2 is going to have a very different shade of Pushpa than what you've seen in Pushpa 1, because it is the lower end of the spectrum that you've seen."
Coming to the much-awaited action drama, the film stars Allu Arjun in the lead role along with Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. Meanwhile, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rao Ramesh and several others form the supporting cast.
Pushpa 2: The Rule is a direct sequel to the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise, both directed by Sukumar. With Allu Arjun seen in the role of Pushpa Raj, a sandalwood smuggler, and Fahadh Faasil as the main antagonist, it would be interesting to see the two actors lock horns yet again in the sequel

Interestingly, just like Samantha Ruth Prabhu had made a special appearance in the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise with Allu Arjun in the song, Oo Antava, it is rumoured that Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor might do a dance number in Pushpa 2: The Rule.
Backed by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the film's technical team comprises cinematographer Miroslaw Kuba Brozek, editor Naveen Nooli and composer Devi Sri Prasad. While the film was earlier slated to hit theatres on December 6, the makers have now confirmed that it would release a day earlier on December 5 in different languages.
