A woke watch and zero-budget web series for everyone

A Summer Story, that's why friendship-themed stories appear relatable and entertaining to watch

The strange thing about creating a web series is that sometimes it is best not to try. What exactly do we mean by that? If you are seeking a huge picture to start with, you are unlikely to be happy with anything less than a big idea.

From a normal ‘Hi’ to best friends

Friendship is a relationship that we all have throughout our lives. We have all felt embarrassed and hesitant when saying our initial 'Hi' to someone who has since become an important part of our lives. That's why friendship-themed stories appear relatable and entertaining to watch.

Real moments of 4 real people

A Summer Story is all about 4 people who show us extremely authentic moments we all have with our friends. Rachel, an Indian-American girl, meets Samar on Mumbai's Marine Drive, and so begins their connection. It's all about assisting strangers, which is very prevalent in Mumbai, and this is how some people become friends. Rachel and Samar become friends, and when she struggles to locate a nice hotel in Mumbai, she sleeps at Samar’s apartment with his two roommates and friends, Varun and Raghav. Their bond and friendship expand over time, allowing them to better comprehend each other’s lives, issues and potential solutions. After all, that is what friends do, right?

Lives of four 20s people

The web series is an excellent slice-of-life drama that explores many aspects of the lives of people in their twenties. Samar's character quits his ordinary 9-to-5 work to pursue his passion for writing. Varun is a struggling actor who offers 50 auditions every day and is occasionally called to pay the casting manager's food bills. Raghav has solid employment, yet his life revolves solely around work. Rachel is a photographer and this is her first trip to India. Her mother urges her to be wary of boys since it is dangerous. But who would have predicted that she would be staying with three boys for the duration of her vacation to Mumbai? That is the brilliance of this web series. It manages to dispel prejudices and the perception that women are always unsafe with men.

Mature characters

Throughout the series, the characters address a wide range of mature themes. For example, Raghav gets upset when Samar quits his work because he believes it is a bad idea to take a sabbatical without a backup plan. That's when Samar poses the question. "Who decided grown-ups don't need a vacation?" The characters also debate how society is deceptive when the lads are questioned for allowing a girl to remain in their home. Raghav and Samar make a reasonable point that people are more concerned when couples decide to live together or when boys and girls hang out together than with the real and serious situations that are going on around them.

Happiness, love, heartbreak and laughter

What makes this online series outstanding and charming is how expressive the lads are whether they are happy, heartbroken or unhappy. How often do we witness a person on film hugging his pal and bawling his eyes out? Men do feel the pain, and it is very normal for men to suffer a breakdown as a result of setbacks in their personal or professional lives. A Summer Story after hearing Samar’s opinions on love and how one should not deceive others. It’s an excellent approach to demonstrating that today’s age is welcoming and open about their preferences, with no preconceptions. Each episode of A Summer Story brings a big smile to your face.

Mesmerising music of summer story

A summer story’s music is mesmerising and each song will stay with you for a long time. The producers worked with good undervalued talents like Abhishrut Tyagi and Augustine Joseph for the songs won’t be so long and Dua, Bharat Chauhan for Ghar, Shajie for Sab achha hai and Aviral Kumar for Gumshuda.

A sweet, endearing and informative watch for everyone. A web series full of happy times, emotions, eye-opening and awake chats, and it’s quite relatable.
